PIGEON FLYING Thje flock race flown by the Dunedin Homing Pigeon Club proved to be one of the best races this season, the first four birds being separated only by decimal points. One hundred and two birds from 18 lofts entered, the airline distance being 201 miles to central lofts, and were liberated in dull weather, the birds flying the airline distance in 5h 20.liin. The first five placed birds were; D. Cunningham’s Swift (1,113.6) I. A. Goodman’s Red Riff (1.113.4) 2, J. Scoullar’s Arena (1,113.3) 3, H. Millard’s Silver Note (1,113) 4. M. Anderson’s Bonnie Girl (1,109.4) 5. The Russian Central Executive Committee has decided to award decorations to 1,373 persons, including milkmaids, cattle breeders, shepherds, poultry farmers, and beekeepers.
