A £20,000 insurance policy against loss of his British accent is being sought by Mr Lester Tremaync, a radio dramatist in Chicago. Mr Tremayne, a native of Loudon, wants a policy guaranteeing, him against loss of his voice, a change in its tone, and distortion of his native accents by the dialects of the American Mid-West.
