ROSLYN TRAMS.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —It seems we are (at long last) to get rid of the Roslyn electric tram, with its thunder and screeching and din, to be replaced by the buses. -Well, from a safety point, 1 think it would he a fitting time to widen the road at thaT part of Highgate where the electric and cable trams meet and cross. Just think of trams, motors, and buses, etc., passing and repassing at that narrow, busy corner. 1 think the Labour Party should wake up and have this done before lifting the tram lines.—l am, etc.. Safety First. February 20.
