NEW ZEALAND GUILD [l'm United Pkebs Association.] • . BLENHEIM, February 29. The first meeting of. the recentlyformed New Zealand Air Pilots’ Guild was Held here when details of its policy and constitution were adopted. The proceedings were not open to the Press. The chief 'object is to preserve the interests of commercial piloting,' and maintain the status and dignity of the guild, also to issue certificates to air masters, air chiefs, air officers, similar to those issued by tlie Guild of _ Air Pilots and Navigators of the British Empire. The details of the qualifications required for these certificates were held over pending receipt of communication now en route from London.
Sub-committees were set up: (1) To investigate and report on the possibility of making blind flying instruction available to members of the guild; (2) to make inquiries as to the possibility of obtaining special concessions for members of the guild for instruction in navigation; (3) to obtain and check particulars of the air service of all members.
