WARNINGS TO BRITAIN AND FRANCE ROME, February 26. (Received February 27, at 2.30 p.m.) An inspired Press article warns Britain that Italy is very closely examining the position in the Mediterranean. France is also warned that her attitude is jeopardising FrancoItalian accord. Hints of Italy s withdrawal from the League are being renewed. ADDITIONAL AIR EXPENDITURE f ROME, February 26. (Received February 27, at 2.30 p.m.) A Gazette announces the provision of £730,000 additional expenditure for the Italian Air Force.
