(Received February 27, at 1 a.m.) The Quetta area, the scone of the great earthquake last year, was badly shaken by a severe shock early this morning, lasting 15 seconds, followed by 12 tremors of less intensity. People wore flung off their beds, and wooden huts, erected amid the ruins of the wrecked towns and villages, were badly damaged. A noise resembling heavy artillery accompanied the shocks. The panic-stricken inhabitants rushed into the open. There was no loss of life, but several people were injured.
