WRECKED IN HURRICANE
KOTON VESSEL ON FIJIAN ISLAND Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright SUVA, February 25. (Received February 25, at 1 p.m.) The Government motor vessel Derek is a total loss on an island in southern Lau, Fiji. She was wrecked during a hurricane when attempting to salvage a cutter sunk during a previous hurricane. There was no loss of life. She was insured at Lloyd’s for £7,500.
