Mrs Moody’s Form.

After months of careful preparation Mrs Helen Wills Moody is ready td defend her All-England championship at Wimbledon and to attempt to regain the championship of the United States,’ which she held until fenced to default to Miss Helen Jacobs in 1933. Howard Kinsey, former Davis Cup player and professional at Mrs Moody’s Californian club, believes that she is playing 25 per cent, better than last year, and that none of her rivals will be abl« to approach her standard in the coming season. He considers that she is better now than in 1931 —her best year —and that she has increased the speed and accuracy of her driving. Mrs Moody herself says she is hitting the ball harder and that she has regained her former agility on the caurt.
