NEW ZEALAND AUTHORS’ WEEK.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir,—lt is desired by the New Zealand Authors’ Week Committee to exhibit as complete a collection of books from the pens of New Zealand writers as is possible. The week commences on Friday, April .17. It is important that any book of verse or prose written by a New Zealand author should be exhibited at this first exhibition of New Zealand literature. If collectors or authors will be good enough to forward any such bbolcs in their possession they will be carefully guarded, and, if so desired, will be returned after the exhibition. Books may be sent to me at 4 Customhouse quay, Wellington, and their receipt will be immediately acknowledged. Any books sent on loan will be the subject matter of a suitable insurance against loss.—l am, etc., C. A. L. TnEAnwF.r.i. (Chairman, N.Z. Authors’ Week). Wellington, February 21.
