'NO MORE LADIES '
BRIGHT GOMEDT FOR EMPIRE Original in theme and embodying both comedy and romantic drama, ‘No More Ladies,’ featuring Joan Crawford, Robert Montgomery, and Franchot Tone, will open at the Em-, pire on Friday. In this instance Robert Montgomery is cast as the husband of Joan Crawford, but he does not behave in the manner expected of model husbands, and is not above flirting with any pretty girl who happens to come along. Now the modern young woman has definite ideas on this subject, and Miss Crawford sets about correcting her husband's weakness in a novel manner. When she summons all his ex-girl friends to a week-end party the stage is set for diverting comedy and awkward situations. Charles Ruggles, Edna May Oliver, Gail Patrick, and Reginald Denny add attraction to the good cast, and are responsible for much of the comedy. Lavishly produced with many spectacular scenes, good dialogue, and laughable situations, ‘No More Ladies ’ is the ideal vehicle to show these popular stars off to perfection, and the film’s season in Dunedin should prove to be a very popular one.,
