M'Cormack left by today’s second express for a three weeks*' holiday, tour of the North Island. Mr W. Ibbotson was a passenger by the midday express, en route to Nelson. A Press Association message from Wellington announces that Mr W. G. Talbot, secretary of the Wellington Boxing Association for the last 26 years, is retiring. Mr John F. Hanna, elder son of Mr J. A. Scott) be appointed to attend the next conference of the Gas Institute of New Zealand, to be held i in •Christchurch in February.
