DUNEDIN CUP MEETING.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —Next month the Dunedin Jockey Club holds its cup meeting at Wingatui. Wingatui on a nice day is a beautiful place, and this year, with good horses racing, the cup meeting ought to be a great success. One very bad feature about Wingatui is the dust nuisance between the railway crossing and the course. Is the club going to do anything to abate this, or are we, especially the ladies in their cup dresses, to arrive on the course smothered in dust? Trusting somethink will bo done,—-I am, etc., Patron. January 20.
