To stress the geographical relationship between New Plymouth and Sydney, particularly from the" point of view or transtasman flights and as a gesture of goodwill, photographs of Mount Egmont have been presented to the Lord Mayor of Sydney, the Chamber of Commerce, and other Sydney organisation! by the Taranaki Chamber of Commerce, the New Plymouth Borough Council, and other Taranaki bodies. The photographs are at present being displayed publicly in Sydney.
