RETURNS FOR DECEMBER QUARTER The returns for the civil business in the Magistrate’s Court at Dunedin for the October-November-December quarter of last year show the following.;— Plaints entered, 712; amount sued for, £6,903 16s-lid; cases heard, 502; amount involved in cases heard,' £6,284 11s lid; amount recovered, £5,761 11s 3d.
The figures for the corresponding quarter of 1934 were as follow: Plaints entered, 741; amount sued for £9,395 12s 4d; cases heard, 511; amount involved in cases heard, £6,433 19s . 6d; amount recovered, £6,037 8a
