WEST TAIERI CLUB ■ On Saturday the above club fired the fir»; sia°-e of No. 3 competition, the conditions being 10 shots at 500yds and 600yds. The changing light and a tricky wind proved very troublesome. Rifleman W. Brookes and Rifleman G. Wyllio tied at 500yds, with 48 each, for highest .place. At 600yds Riflemen W. Irving, .1.
