A North American Newspaper Alliance copyright- message from the Wyatt Earp says: “For five days the Wyatt Earp travelled within 600 miles of Ellsworth’s transantarctic route, but a sharp watch failed to detect any radio signals. With a strong following wind the vessel is speeding in_ a westerly direction, north of the ice pack, on route to the Bay of Whales. To-day s noon position was lat. 68.32, long. 111.46. Tliis is in the vicinity ot the point Admiral Byrd reached in the Jacob Rnppert ami from which he made his flight south. Wo are still 2,000 miles from the Bay of Whales.”.
