TOMAHAWK BOATING CLUB

The New Year’s Day regatta of the Tomahawk Boating Club was held under ideal conditions. A full-sail breeze made for interesting racing, and close finishes were the order of the day. In most races only seconds separated the boats in the three-quarter-mile beat from the bottom of the lagoon to the club shed. The entries were not as large as expected, owing to a number of members being at the Broad Bay regatta.
