BIBLE CLASS CAMP

, Young people of the Church of Christ of Otago and Southland gathered at Hampden over the Christmas-New Year week for the annual camp under the capable leadership of Mr H. Laing and Mrs A. Green, with Mr 0. E, White as camp padre. Morning devotions, at which a series of talks given on the Apostle Paul’s life, aims and methods of ministry, . were inspirational and practical. At evening devotions Padre White gave talks_ on the problems of youth, with the aim of fitting campers for fuller service in the home spheres. Hampden has proved a splendid camping place for hiking, swimming, and tennis, and the campers have benefited physically as well as spiritually. Many have shown talent in concert work. Tuesday, which was spent at Trotter’s Gorge, was voted one of the most enjoyable days.
