ASSOCIATION’S MEETING At the monthly meeting of th*l Roslyn District Nursing Association there were present Mr J. Moir (in th* chair), Mesdames H. W. Bundle, A. RFalconer, L. Chapman, J. Whyte, WHeenan, J. B. Dawson, Misses F. A* Wilkinson, and J. Robertson, Dr Falconer, Messrs J. M. Dick and J. BU Matheson. • The nurse’s report showed that November was the busiest month since that nursing work began, 205, visits having been paid, while 45 people came to the rooms. Several generous donations ofl jam have been received, and anyone wishing to help in this way can get empty jam jars at the rooms. Butter or eggs had been sent instead of soup during the hot weather, and : these had; been very acceptable. Last Saturday afternoon Miss Ash* worth and the boarders of Columbti College gave a delightful party to 4Q children, when an enjoyable time wa* spent in games and a peanut hunt, followed by afternoon tea. . The Roslyn Girl Guides entertained 30 other children at a Christmas partyThe children of the beginners’ and primary departments of»the Roslyn, Presbyterian Sunday school had ai Christmas tree, and each child brought a gift to bo given away. „ These wer* distributed to children who had no| been entertained.
