Alleging that she had heen severely burned in several places on her scalp while undergoing hair treatment, Ethel Clive Beddis, a spinster, of Christchurch, claimed £213 3s lid general and special damages from Doreen Burke, toilet specialist, in the Magistrate’s Court to-day. Miss Burke had since married and loft the business. The magistrate, Mr F. F. Reid, heard much medical and other evidence. At the conclusion of the hearing ho said the case was an extraordinary one, and in view of the conflict of medical witnesses he would take time to consider his decision.
