SUNDAY SERVICES

The Rov. W. Allen Stcvely will conduct the services at First Church. In the morning his subject will be While Humble Shepherds.’ The junior choir will render the 1 anthem ‘ln the Field with Their Flocks. 1 ' The subject for the evening service is ‘Where to go at Christmas. The duet f What Have 1 to do with Thee? and the anthem ‘0! Holy Night will be sung'. Dr Y. B. Galway vfill be the orD. C. Herron will conduct both services 'in Knox Church. The subject for the evening will be ‘ Music in Christian Worship,’ and the chpir will render selections from the Messiah.’ . The Rev. Thomas Miller is to be the preacher in St. Stephen’s Church. A Triumphant Doxology ’ will be his subject at the morning service, and ‘ Spiritual Conflict and Conquest ’ his subject in the evening. , At the evening service in the Anderson s Bay Presbyterian Church the choir will give a recital of music suitable to the Christmas season. Mendelssohn’s ‘ Hear My Prayer,’ in which Mrs J. B. Davies will take the solo part, is included. Mr and Mrs Davies will sing the duet ‘ Love Divine,’ by. Stainer. At the South Dunedin Presbyterian Church both services will bo conducted by the Rev. ,R. T. Dodds. A' Christmas carol service will be held in Trinity Methodist Church at the close of the evening’s service. Assisting artists include Misses Margaret .Murray, Maud Giles, 'and Anna Briasco (violin), and Messrs A. Lungley, D. MTnnes, and W. Lana. Christmas music will also be rendered at both the morning and evening services. The. Rev. C. H. Olds will speak in the morning on ' Follow the Gleam,’ and in. the evening on ‘Singing in the Night.’ The morning service at Duudas Street Methodist Church will be conducted by Mr H.
