FAIR BUT CLOUDY The following weather forecast was issued at noon by the Meteorological Office. The sky was hazy, though light, and the sun did not appear to be far beyond the pale clouds, for it was still sultry and mild at noon, when the temperature was Gldeg, compared witq 70.2 deg for the whole of yesterday. The main contributory factor was a change in the breeze’s direction- to the southj east, but the barometer was rising ai 30.3 m. Last night’s minimum tend perature was 56.3 deg, which fell id 53.5 deg early this morning.
