ATTRACTIVE SWIMMING PROGRAMME [By HO9KEK.] • The closest , co-operation exists between the ; official? of, the Nort}i-east Harbour Boating Club and the Otago Swimming Centre,: and; the latter body is receiving' considerable assistance from ..the, Macandrew Bay people in regard/ to the staging of the Batt Cup and Annette Kellerman/ Cup harbour swims- thero'ih February.' The swimmers themselves have the opportunity, of; expressing their appreciation to the Macandrew Bay oflicials by entering ,in large numbers for the swimming events at the Macandrew Bay regatta bn Boxing Day, for which a very attractive programme has been arranged; with good prizse. The events will bo; Plain diving, 100yds'intcrclub handicap, 50yds ladies’ intcrclub handicap, 100 yds intcrclub breast stroke handicap, 50yds junior and intermediate boys’ and girls’ handicap, 50yds. intcrciul) handicap, and 50yds hack stroke handicap. There will also bo a greasy pole event, a pillow light, and acyia-planing.
