DEMAND FOR INCREASED WAGES OWNERS’ REPLY AWAITED. (British Official Wireless.) Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright RUGBY, November 22. In reply to a communication informing him of the result of the ballot of the coalfields on the demand for an increase in miners’ wages of 2s per day, tbc Prime Minister (Mr Baldwin) lias sent a letter to the Miners’ Federation executive, which, it is understood, will be considered at a meeting of the executive on Monday. Meanwhile the terms of the reply have not been disclosed.
