TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —In your issue of the 21st hist, appears au article under the heading of ‘ Charge for Case,’ in which the retailer’s side is given of the position by a prominent city fruiterer. If the Cooperative .Fruitgrowers of Otago Ltd. he the auctioneering firm to which ho refers, we must state that 3d and is paid for half-bushel and bushel cases to buyers of fruit in their auction rooms ivlien they arc returned in good order to the store.
