NOTE ISSUE.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —For many years the note issue in New Zealand stood at about the six million mark. With the advent of tho Reserve Bank it is now w T ell over the nine million mark. Had the Labour Party been, in power I would have said the printing press was being kept busy. What is the explanation?—l am, etc., Curious. ■ November 1 ' 22.
