BARCELONA.—As a preliminary to the great bull fights which take place in every Spanish town with any pretensions to importance, a big beef least is held, the animals being excited prior to killing. They are turned into an arena, and it is the custom for small boys to show their bravery by taking on the task of rousing them, a game not entirely lacking in thrills.
