‘THE MESSIAH’

In the Town Hall on December 7 the Dunedin Choral Society will again present Handel’s immortal masterpiece, The Messiah.’ Last year the society departed from its custom of performing this great choral work at its Christmas concert. This year, in response to insistant requests from the many lovers of ‘ The Messiah,’ the society has decided to engage the best soloists available and to make this concert a feature of tho year’s work. The choir is stronger and better balanced than it has ever been, and has been singing exceptionally well at recent concerts. The soloists will be Madame Winnie Fraser, Miss Mary Pratt, Mr Ernest Drake, and Mr Wilfred Kershaw. Mrs H. O. Campbell will be at the piano. Dr Galway at the organ, and Mr Allred Walmsley will conduct.
