FRUIT CASES.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —In your issue of Thursday, in an article under the heading of ‘ Retailers View of Case Charging,’ you have referred to a firm of brokers who issued a circular stating they returned 3d to 4Jd for cases returned. This, your informant retailer stated, was incorrect. I am endlosing a number of credit slips, some as far back as 1932, which will prove the said firm has returned 3d, 4Jd, and even as much as 6d for cases returned. The 3d cases returned, as you will see, are the- small quarter cases referred to by your informant. —I am, etc., N. Jones. November 23.
