WINNER'S RECIPE The British Empire professional cocktail championship,. for , which over 2,000 entries were received from all parts of the Empire, was won recently at the Wines, Spirits, and Hotel Trades Exhibition at G rosvenor House ,> Park Lane, London, by Mr Bert Nutt.the 20-year-old assistant bar-tender of the Grand Hotel,. Bristol. The winning cocktail, the “ Cliftonian,” contained: 124 per cent, calorie punch, 12$ per cent, orange juice, 37$ per cent. Grand Marnier, 37$ per cent, gin. . The judging of the competition,which lasted for a week, was conducted by juries composed of members of th« public. : . '
