THE GOVERNMENT REQUIRED.
' TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —I have just received by post a paper called ‘ Labour’s Call to Victory.’ It refers to the “freedom of the Press.” I should say “ Freedom of Speech.” What I really think of the Labour Party as shown in this paper is a lot of faces and nothing besides. If they ever got into power, God help our country! lam a New Zealander, and [ would like the brains of true New Zealand workers to represent Labour in our country, and _ not imports. A Government is required that can pull New Zealand out of her dark days, as ■ has been done. I am quite satisfied what we want is to continue with a sane Government. —I am, etc., Geokoe Bennett.
