The Business Girls’ Lyceum was presenting two plays at its final gathering. A number of members of the service .group of the Combined Old Girls’ Association. had consented to assist in the production of a nativity play, ‘Everyman of Everystreet,’ to be presented in the Concert Chamber early in December, the Residents’ Choir, under the baton of Mr E, Benton, being responsible for the vocal music and the D.I.C. Orchestra for the orchestral work. It was hoped by this means to create an interest in the study of religious drama, which was revived in England in recent years. News was given of the departure of Miss Nessie Moncrieff, World Fellowship secretary, for America, where she will do deputation work prior to going on to England for a course of study before returning to China.
