(7.30 p.m.), 749 tons, Williams, for Wanganui via ports. MOVEMENTS ON THE COAST. / Wingatui arrived from Auckland direct yesterday afternoon. She is to pail on Saturday morning for Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland. Paua arrived from Wellington via ports last night to discharge case oil. She will later proceed to Bluff to complete,. Totara, having completed discharge of her cargo of coal, sailed for Westport, last night. Storm saile'd last night for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Picton, and Wanganui. Karu is due to-morrow morning from Wellington. She is to sail later that clay for Wellington, Nelson, and New Plymouth via ports. Parera is due from Wellington tomorrow morning, and is to sail tomorrow evening for Port Waikato via ports. Waimarino is to leave Auckland tomorrow for the south. She is due on Wednesday, and is to sail for Bluff the same day. TRANSPACIFIC MAIL SERVICES. —Northbound.— Aorangi left Sydney on November 7 and Auckland on November 12 for Vancouver via Suva and Honolulu. Sho is due at Vancouver on November 29. . Lurline left Sydney on November 13 and Auckland on November _ 16 for Los Angeles and San Francisco via Suva, Pago Pago, and Honolulu. She is due at Los Angeles on November 30 and San Francisco on December 2, ’Makura left Sydney to-day, and is to leave Wellington on' November 26 for San Francisco via Rarotonga and Papeete. Niagara is to leave Sydney on December 5 and Auckland on December 10 for Vancouver via Suva and Honolulu. She is due at Vancouver on December 27. Monterey is to leave Sydney on December 11 and Auckland on December 18 for Los Angeles and San Francisco via Pago Pago, and Honolulu. She is due at Los Angeles on December 28 and San Francisco on December 30. Maunganui is to leave Sydney on December 19 and Wellington on December 24 for San Francisco via Rarotonga and Papeete. Sho is due at Wellington on January 6, and Sydney on January 11. ' Mariposa is to leave Los Angeles on December 10 for Auckland, Sydney, and Melbourne via Honolulu, Pago Pago, and Suva. She is due at Auckland on December 27, and at Sydney on December 30. INTERISLAND EXPRESS. The interisland express steamer Rangatira reached-Lyttelton from Wellington at 6.40 a.m. to-day. Passengers and mail for the south, connected with the express. CITY OF BAGDAD TO-MORROW. The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the City of Bagdad is due at Dunedin to-morrow from New York via northern ports to discharge American cargo. She will sail about Saturday for Sydney to complete discharge. CANADIAN CHALLENGER COMING. The Canadian Challenger, which left Montreal on October 27 for New Zealand, will discharge and load at Wellington, ’Lyttelton, and Dunedin. She is due at this port about Jaunary 4, and x will sail finally from Dunedin for New York, Boston, and Halifax. AKAROA PASSES PITCAIRN. The Akaroa, which left Auckland on November 8 for Southampton and London via Panama, reports by radio that she reached Pitcairn Island at noon on Saturday, that she has experienced fine weather since leaving New Zealand, and that all on board are well. OSAKA SHOSEN KAISHA SCHEDULE. The sailing schedule for the motor vessel Sydney Maru has been received in Dunedin, and shows her itinerary to be as follows;—Leave Melbourne January 4, 1936: arrive Dunedin January 9, 1936; sail Dunedin January 9, 1936: arrive Lyttelton January 10, 1936; sail Lyttelton January 10, 1936, for Wellington, thence Auckland, Sydney, on her return voyage to Japan. This will be the first vessel of the line to call at South Island ports. RANGITATA AT AUCKLAND. The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the Rangitata reached Auckland from London yesterday afternoon. Passengers for the south travelled to .Wellington by last night’s train. GARONNE TO-MORROW. Messrs H. L. Tapley and Co. announce that the tariker Garonne is due from Batum via northern ports to-mor-row to discharge a quantity of motor spirit. KARETU ARRIVES. Tire Karetu arrived from Bluff this morning to discharge cargo loaded at Newcastle, Port Stephens, and Sydney. Prom this port she trill proceed on Saturday to Lyttelton, Miramar, and Sydney, IN RADIO RANGE.
