BERLIN, WHERE THE ELEVENTH OLYMPIAD WILL BE CELEBRATED.—The Olympiad will he held in Berlin from August 1 to 16, 1936, and will be preceded by the Winter Games at Garmisch-Partenkircheu from February 6 to 16. The German Organising Committee for the eleventh Olympiad has invited, in the prescribed form, participation by all the sport-loving nations of the world in the competitions and festivals which will be held on this occasion. A large number of acceptances have already been received. Germany, as the nation acting as host on this occasion, has signified that she will make every effort to render the festival as successful and as thrilling as possible and to assure that visitors will carry home an unforgettable impression of their stay.
