CITY DRAINAGE
MONTHLY BOARD MEETING , Only routine business was done at the monthly meeting of the. Dunedin Drainage and Sewerage Board, held last night. The mayor (the Rev. E. T. Cox) presided over the following attendance:—Messrs F. Jones, M.P., M. Silverstone, W. Begg, W. A. Scott, W. H. Shepherd, P. Neilson, and Dr D. G. M'Millan. The reports of the Works and Finance Committees were adopted without discussion.
The tender of Messrs M'Callum and Co. was accepted for the supply and delivery of hardwood' trench tipiber, the price being £634 5s sd. There were five tenderers.
