HEADS PROGRAMME FOR STRAND Riotous comedy from start to finish is the order in ‘ You Said a Mouthful,’ the Joe E. Brown comedy to commence at the Strand on Friday with another comedy, ‘ A Night at the Ritz,’ Many unusual and laughter-provoking scenes occur throughout the course of the story, the amazing yell from the back of nowhere through the gaping cavern that is Joe E.’s mouth being not the least surprising and amusing _of all the “ gags ” in the picture. This actor must be an excellent' all-round athlete since he has taken the role of a high-speed boat racer _ in ‘ Top Speed,’ a football player in ‘ Maybe It’s Love,’ a prize-fighter in ‘ Hold Everything,’ a wrestler in ‘ Sit Tight,’ a baseball player in ‘ Fireman, Save My Child,’ an aviator in ‘ Going Wild,’ and a sprinter in ‘ The Local Boy Makes Good.’ In ‘ You Said a Mouthful ’, he appears as a terrified gentleman who is forced, on account of mistaken identity and an attempt to make good with “ Ginger ” Rogers, to take part ih a marathon swimming race from Catalina Island to the mainland—in spite of sharks, seaweed, and surf.
