MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE The Management Committee of the Otago Football Association held its weekly meeting last night, Mr M. G. M'lnnes presiding. Technical Old Boys’ Chib’s application for the regrading of W. Vernon, who had played three senior games this season, from first to second grade was referred to the Transfer Committee. The New Zealand Council forwarded a clearance for G. R. Phillips from Diamonds (Wellington) to RoslynWakari. A complaint that the referees appointed for two games played on Littlebourne Ground on Saturday did not appear was received, and it was decided to call the attention of the Referees’ Club to the matter. RESULTS OF MATCHES. In a report submitted to the meeting respecting the broadcast of results of matches by 4YA in Saturday night’s early news session, it was stated that the local station had experienced difficulty similar to that of the newspapers in obtaining the various results, but that the director had expressed his willingness to broadcast the results provided they were handed in or telephoned to the station early. As suggested in the report, it was decided to circularise all clubs, asking them to appoint a person in each team to communicate results regularly and expeditiously to 4YA, and to the ‘ Sports Special ’ as promptly as possible. OTAGO JUNIORS v, SOUTHLAND. It was announced that the junior team to play Southland at Invercargill on Saturday would leave by the 8.33 express on the morning of the match, with Mr N. C.
