COMMUNITY SINGING

This week’s sing will be held on Friday at 1215 p.m. (no s fc 12.30), in the Strand Theatre (by courtesy of FullerHay ward). Last week a record attendance was present. These midday sings have become very popular by those attending, and also by listenersin iudeinjr by the donations and contributions received. The proceeds are for the mayor’s relief fund, and no matter how small donations (goods or money), are always welcome. Mrs MTntyre, who is in charge of the stall will be pleased to receive goods. This week Mr Jock Rogers, Scottish baritone, will render an item. Mr xl. P. Desmoulins will be the leader and Mr Alf Pettitt will be at the piano. Donations can be left at Beggs or at the Strand.
