RUGBY, June 29. A picturesque ceremony took place at St. James’s Palace when the Duke of Connaught inspected the Yeomen of the Guard in celebration of the 450th ■ anniversary of the founding of the corps, the members of which, in old-world uniforms, are popular with visitors to the Tower of London. The Duke conveyed a message of congratulation and ,an expression of His Majesty’s gratitude to the corps for its services.
