PRESIDENT'S REQUEST TD CONGRESS Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright WASHINGTON, June 27. (Received June 28, at 11.25 a.m.) To guard the Administration’s monetary policy against court attacks President Roosevelt asked Congress to pass legislation to bar suits for payment of Government securities in gold or equivalent value in devalued currency.
