CHILDREN SEEK MILK RATION

APPLICATION TO BOARD

[Per United Press Association.]

WELLINGTON, June 28,

A letter from the children of Trentham School asking for the allocation of a milk ration was received by the Wellington Hospital Board. The letter, written by one of the children, was accompanied by a report from the school medical officer that the majority of the children would be ilhproved greatly in health if given half a pint of milk daily. The board decided to refer the question to the Smith Family and the Minister of Education, as the board did not include in its scope the supply of milk to school children.
