In the fourth competition for the Winchester Cup, shot under the auspices of the New Zealand Miniature Rifle Association, United (Christchurch), by repeating its record score of last year, 903, was again successful. West End (Timaru) was the runnerup with 990, and Sumner-Redcliffs third with 988. There were six double possibles of 200, these being secured by R. Williams (United), C. Blackwood (West. End), K. Perkins (Westport), L. Hare (Hutt),‘AV. Bradshaw (Timaru), and W. Birch (Longburn). A GRADE The A grade match between Speight’s v. Barnetts was fired On Tuesday evening, and resulted in a win for Barnett’s. The following are the scores:—
