Hohndale arrived from Wanganui and Wellington last night and is to sail this evening for Oaniaru, Tiraaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Picton, and Wanganui. Breeze sailed last night for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Picton, and Wanganui. Wingatui is due frojn Auckland via ports to-morrow morning and is to sail on Saturday for Oanmru, .Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland. Rata is due to-morrow from Wes'tport via Lyttelton. She is to sail later in the clay for Westport and Greymonth. Orepuki is due from Wellington on Saturday and is to sail the same clay for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Wanganui. Parera is due on Monday from Wellington and is to sail the same clay for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, ’New Plymouth, and Port Waikato. Storm is due on Wednesday from Wellington and is to sail the same day for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Picton, and Wanganui. Waipahi is to leave Wellington on Monday for Dunedin. She is due on Wednesday and is to sail the same day for Wellington, Nelson, and New Plymouth via ports. Waimarino is to leave Auckland tomorrow for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Bluff. Niagara left Sydney on June 20 arid Auckland on June 25 for Vancouver via Suva and Honolulu. She is due at Vancouver on July 12. Mariposa left Sydney June 26 and is to leave Auckland on June 29 for San Francisco via Suva, Pago Pago, and Honolulu. She is due at San Francisco on July 15. Maunganui is to leave Sydney on July 4. and Wellington on July 9, for San Francisco via Rarotonga and Papeete. She is due at San Francisco on July 26. —Southward. — Aorangi left Vancouver on June 20 for Auckland and Sydney via Honolulu and Suva She is duo at Auckland on July 8 and Sydney on July 13. Monterey left Los Angeles on Juno 26 for Auckland, Sydney, and Melbourne via Honolulu, Pago Pago, and Suva. She is due at Auckland on July 12 and Sydney on July 15. Makura is to leave San Francisco on July 3 for Wellington and Sydney via Papeete and Rarotonga. She is due at Wellington on July 22 and at Sydney on July 27. _ Maunganui is to leave San Francisco on July 28 for Wellington and Sydney, via Papeete and Rarotonga. She is due at Wellington on August 19 and Sydney on August 24. KARETU TO SAIL. The Karetu, which arrived from Australian ports via Bluff yesterday morning is to sail to-night for Timaru, Lyttelton, Bluff, Sydney, Newcastle, and Hobart, INTERISLAND EXPRESS. The interisland express steamer Rangatira reached Lyttelton from Wellington at 6.50 a.m. to-day. Passengers ami mail for the 'south connected with the excess. WAIPAHI TO REPLACE KAIMAI. The Union Company’s Waipahi, with fruit from Fiji, arrived at Auckland on Tuesday morning. She was to sail on Tuesday night for Wellington and Dunedin. The vessel will then enter the South Island-Wcllington-Nelson-Now Plymouth service, replacing the Kaimai, which will enter the W 7 est Coast coal trade.

BALACLAVA SAILS. . Having dischai'ged a part cargo of motor spirit from Singapore, the Norwegian tanker Balaclava left Dunedin yesterday afternoon for Wellington to complete discharge. PORT WHANGAREI TO LOAD FRUIT. The Port Whangasei left Auckland last Friday for Nukulofa and Tonga to load fruit cargo for Auckland. She is scheduled to return to Auckland on July 2. lONIC AT SOUTHAMPTON. Cabled advice has been received that the Shaw, Savill liner lonic reached Southampton on June 21 from New Zealand. She left Lyttelton on May 10 for Southampton and London via the Panama Canal arid Kingston, NORFOLK REACHES LONDON. Cabled advice has been received by the Federal Company that the Norfolk reached London on the inorning of June 21. She left Wanganui roadstead on May 11 for London, Avonmouth, CtTrdiff. Liverpool, and Glasgow via Cape Horn. KAIMAI DELAYED. A breakdown in her engine, while en route from Timaru to Lyttelton on Tuesday morning, caused the Union Shipping Company’s steamer Kaimai to make a long trip of 19 hours. The Kaimai left Timaru at 7 p.m. on Monday, and it was early on Tuesday morning, while the vessel was in the vicinity of Akaroa, that a defect developed in the intermediate cylinder. The vessel was stopped while an examination was made, and it was later decided to proceed under easy steam to Lyttelton. The Kaimai was sighted off the Long Lookout by the signalman on duty at the Adderley Head signal station soon after 10 a.m. At midday the tug was sent out to give assistance if necessary. Meeting the Kaimai outside the heads the tug escorted the steamer in, but did not take her in tow until just before reaching the moles. The Kaimai was berthed at 2 p.m. On the cylinder head being unshipped it was ascertained that a junk-ring had broken and that the piston rod was bent. The defective parts were forwarded to Wellington on Tuesday evening by the Rangatira for repairs. They were to arrive back to-day, and the vessel was to sail later in the day in continuation of her voyage.

TROJAN STAR LEAVES GLASGOW. The Trojan Star, which was to have left the United Kingdom on June 18 in ballast for New Zealand, sailed from Glasgow on- June 23. She is duo at Bluff on July 30. ' KANNA TO LOAD GUANO: The Union Company’s Kanua is to leave Auckland about the end of this week fox - Noumea and Walpole Island to load guano for Auckland, Dunedin, and Bluff. PAKEHA’S MOVEMENTS. The Shaw, Savill striamer Pakelia left Auckland on Tuesday for Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin to complete discharge of Her Liverpool cargo. IN RADIO RANGE.
