(8.15 p.m.), 536 tons, Davies, for Wanganui via ports. MOVEMENTS ON THE COAST. Waipiata sailed last evening for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland. Orepuki sailed last evening for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Wanganui. Totara arrived from Westport via Oamaru last night. After discharging coal she was to load, and is to sail tonight for Greymouth direct. Breeze is due from Wellington tomorrow. She is to sail the same day for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Picton, and Wanganui. Parera is due from Wellington tomorrow,' and is to sail fVsgamc day- for Timaru, Lyttelton, Plymouth, and Port Waikato.' : ~ ' Port Whangarei is due on Friday from Wellington, She is scheduled to sail the same day for Tauranga, Auckland, and Port Whangarei via ports. The interisland express steamer Maori reached Lyttelton from Wellington at 6.45 a.m. to-day. Passengers and mail for the south connected with the express. TRANSPACIFIC MAIL SERVICES. —Northward,— Aorangi left Auckland on May 28 for Vancouver via Suva and Honolulu. She is due at Vancouver on June 14. Monterey left Auckland on Juno 3 for San Francisco via Suva, Pago Pago, Honolulu, and Los Angeles. She is due at Sah Francisco on June 17. Makura is to leave Sydney on June 6 and Wellington on June 11 for San Francisco via Raratonga and Papeete. She is due at San Francisco on Juno 28. Maunganui is to leave Sydney on July 4 and Wellington on July 9 for San Francisco via Raratonga and Papeete. She is due at San Francisco on July 26. —Southward.— Niagara left Vancouver on May 23 for Auckland and Sydney via Honolulu and Suva. She is duo at Auckland on June 10 and Sydney on June 15. Mariposa left San Francisco on May 28 for Auckland, Sydney, and .Melbourne via Honolulu, Pago Pago, and Suva. She is duo at Auckland on June 14 and Sydney on Juno 17. Maunganui left San Francisco to-day for Wellington and Sydney via Papeete and Rarotonga. She is due at Wellington on June 24 and Sydney on June 27, Makura is to leave San Francisco on July 3 for Wellington and Sydney via Papeete and Rarotonga. She is due at Wellington, on July 22 and at Sydney on July 27. CANADIAN CRUISER’S PORTS. 1 The Canadian Cruiser, from Halifax via Australia, is now to proceed to Bluff, where she is due on June 16, afterwards calling at Dunedin, Lyttelton, .Wellington, and Napier. She is to sail finally from Napier on June 23 for Now York, Boston, and Montreal via Panama. MARINE EXAMINATION RESULTS. Tho following are the results of examinations conducted, by the Marine Department during May :■ —Third class ‘engineer (steam)—Messrs J. E. Churchward, J. F. H. Ramage, T. R. Cain, F. H. Tho Benhohn is to leave New York on June 15 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin, and is to be followed on July 8 by the City of Glasgow, which is to call at the same ports, proceeding afterwards to Sydney. PORT NAPIER DIVERTED The Port Napier, which left Hamburg on April 23 for Australia to discharge, and was to have proceeded to New Zealand to load, is not now coming. She will load at Australian ports for the United Kingdom.

OTIRA FOR OAMARU. The Shaw, Savill steamer Otira left Brisbane on Saturday in ballast to load at New Zealand ports after discharging in Australia. She is due at Oamaru about Friday. BEATUS FROM THE STATES. The Beatus arrived at Auckland on Sunday from New Orleans. She will proceed to Wellington, New Plymouth, Lyttelton, and Dunedin to complete-dis-charge. NARBADA’S LOADING. The Narbada is expected to leave Calcutta on August 3. She will complete her cr.rgo afc Penang, Singapore, and Samarang for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunedin, and Bluff. AKAROA LEAVES AUCKLAND. Tho Shaw, Savill, .and Albion liner Akaroa left. Auckland on Monday for Gisborne, Port Chalmers, Lyttelton, Picton, and Wellington to load. She will return to Auckland to complete her cargo, and is scheduled to sail for South ampton and London via Panama on June 28. BALAKLAVA WITH OIL. The tanker Balaklava, which sailed from Singapore on May 29 for Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dimedin, is due at Wellington on June 19. DURHAM’S SAILING. The Durham is to sail from Port Chalmers ’ this afternoon for northern ports, to complete her Homeward loading. ’ She will proceed to London via Cape Horn. KAIMIRO FROM AUSTRALIA. The Union Company advises that the Kaimiro, from Edithburg, Adelaide, and Melbourne is to be despatched from Auckland -to-morrow for Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. She is due on June 12, and after discharge will sail for Bluff, Greymouth, Melbourne, and Adelaide. IN RADIO RANGE.
