ST. ANDREW'S SOCIETY

On Wednesday last the St. Andrew’s Society held its monthly meeting in the Wilson Hall, and a largo attendance of members and friends spent a very enjoyable evening. The programme opened with the grand march, led by Piper Davidson. Items were contributed by the following artists Miss E. Ivirkhara. ‘ We’d Better Bide a Wee ’; Miss D. Vennall, ‘The Rose of Tralee ’; Miss M. Barclay and Mr H. Eagar, duet, ‘ The Crooked Bawbee.’ Mr Eagar also sang ‘My Ain Dear Nell,’ and Miss A. Stephens ga\-e a selection from ‘ Wee , Macgregor.’ Dancing and games occupied the rest of the time, and -the evening was brought to a close by the singing Of * Auld Lang Syne. 1
