Sir,—The motor registration authorities evidently do not accept the usual interpretation of the word . ‘ passengers,” which is that of Chambers in the Twentieth Century Dictionary, namely, “ those who. travel in A public, conveyance.” Questions are asked and' expected to be answered in ways that do violence to the usual interpretation of the word. To avoid confusion might not the motor registration authorities state on form No. 3 their own interpretation" ot the word ''passengers,' seeing they do not agree with Chambers?—l am, etc., r H ; .
