RESULT OF ELECTIONS ONLY ONE SEAT IN DOUBT Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright SYDNEY, May 19. As the result of a recount and distribution of preferences, the 'Bathurst seat to-day was won- back for State Labour by the former holder of the seat, Mr C. A. Kelly, by a narrow majority. Only one _ seat is now in doubt, Petersham, which is expected to be retained by tne Government candidate. The state of the , parties in the New South Wales Assembly will then be: — United Australia Party ... 118 United Country •... 28 State Labour ... 29 . State'Labour lias won five seats.
