For years they have worked this ruse, and there are only a very few people who really . know who Dorothy Hunter is. At the age of 20 Dorothy is turned down by a man she thought she loved. He explains that he could not face being the husband of the richest girl in the world.

When Tony Travis (Joel M'Crea) comes along Dorothy decides to test his genuineness before she consents to marry him. She persuades Sylvia, as the supposed millionairess, to be in love with him. 4 Tony is at first flattered at this interest from the girl ha thinks il the richest in the world. Complications follow, as Sylvia is married to Philip (Reginald Denny), who strongly resents his wife being used to test Tony. There are several clever and amusing episodes before all ends well for Dorothy, in spite of being the richest girl in the world, j Henry Stephenson is delightful as the devoted old guardian who shrewdly watches Dorothy’s trials and tnbulations in love. Miriam Hopkins will add even more to her numbers of admirers for her charming and talented portrayal of Dorothy. The scenes and dresses are on an unusually lavish scale and give an insight into the lives of America’s wealthy people. In the other picture. The Best Man Wins,’ the story is told of two men who are in love with the same woman. One is a police officer and the other is a diver who has lost an arm in saving the life of his rival. The latter gams the impression that his lost arm will he a handicap, but, under peculiar circumstances, he becomes engaged to _ the girl. The diver* however, has joined a gang of smugglers, and the element of excitement is introduced when the police officer*is engaged t(0 track down 1 the criminals. Events lead up to a happy conclusion in which the best man wins.” The cast is headed by Jack Holt, Edmund Lowe, and Florence Rice. ______
