WITH THE DXERS
NEW STATIONS BEING FOUND Most DXers are finding plenty of new 'stations. This time of the year, generally speaking, is quite good, and the present year, is proving to be no exception. VKs can be heard every morning in the week, and they are easily the best. DX at present. The best hours are from Ito 2 a.in. on Sundays and Mondays. Watch early for evening Americans. Oii an exceptionally good night these may even come in easily an hour earlier than usual. Some have been reported as early as 3.30 p.m. The best time is from 4.30 to 6 p.m.; after this the night noise makes loggings difficult. ’ Log the new Australian B stations while .they are strong. _ Generally after a few months on the air they weaken.' South Americans have been rather weak lately. Patience is required with these, because usually only about one week in a month are they strong enough to log. Try from 3to 5 p.m.
