ST. KILDA BAND CONCERT

Tho Empire Theatre will be the centre of attraction on Sunday evening when the St. Kilda Band presents its celebrity concert. This band recently iron the New Zealand championship at Timaru, and music lovers should not miss the opportunity of hearing this fine combination. ' Assisting the band is Mr Arthur Macdonald, probably New Zealand’s finest baritone, who will be heard to advantage in the number ‘ The Dover .Patrol,’ also the popular tenor, Mr J. E. Davies, well known to Dunedin audiences, will also sing selected numbers. The band will play the selection ‘ William Tell,’ overture ‘ Zampa,’ and several other popular numbers. The cornet solo and duet will be an added attraction. Miss Muriel Caddie will play the accompaniments. The admission is by silver coin, and owing to the large crowds attending these concerts doors will open at 7.15 p.m.
